The long and short of SEO keywords

Keywords fall into two categories – short tail (or broad) keywords and long tail (or narrow) keywords. Long tail keywords are longer and more specific, e.g. ‘video production in Marbella’ or ‘luxury hotels in southern Spain’.
Both short tail and long tail keywords have a place within a website, but the inclusion of long tail keywords means your website is more likely to be ranked higher on search engines. Conversion rates are also usually better from long tail keywords.
