Livingstone Estates are a Costa del Sol based real estate agent, which specialises in apartments, townhouse and villas. They provide an aftersales service, for things like property management, decoration, and rentals services.  They have several branch offices in Spain – on the Costa del Sol that includes Puerto Banus, Estepona, and Nerja. They are also big players on the Costa Blanca, with branches based in Altea and La Zenia. Unusually, they also have branch offices (as opposed to business associates) in Sofia and Casa del Mar, both in Bulgaria.

Like many other estate agents in Spain (not just on the Costa del Sol, but also on the Costa Blanca) Livingstone have in more recent times expanded their portfolio to include properties in Turkey, Morocco, and the aforementioned Bulgaria. On Spain’s Costa Blanca, they advertise property from €60,000 upwards, in areas like Torrevieja, Costa Formentera, and increasingly in the Murcia region. Generally speaking, the Costa Blanca is far cheaper than the Costa del Sol.

Livingstone takes part in property exhibitions across Europe, and provide personalised inspection visits for clients, within their price ranges. They also provide answers to questions like payment schedules.

In Spain now, the money that one pays goes into a deposit account and is bonded, which means that the money isn’t paid over to the developer until the completion of the apartment.
