Sol Andalusi Resort

Sol Andalusi is an inland development located in Alhaurin, in Andalucia surrounded by countryside and beauty, yet still with good access to all the facilities of the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. The Sol Andalusi development, set in 130,000 square metres of glorious gardens, was the brainchild of developer Luis Martinez, who actually lives in the area himself.

The properties at Sol Andalusi range from one to three bedroom apartments, with large terraces, fully-fitted kitchens, bathrooms with marble floors, and hot and cold air-conditioning units. In the middle of the Sol Andalusi urbanisation is a supermarket, restaurant, lounge bars, and a business centre with conference facilities, a health and beauty spa, gymnasium, and swimming pool are also close to hand, along with 24 hour security for the urbanisation, and medical services. Many retirees live in Sol Andalusi, due to its excellent facilities and relaxing surroundings.

Additionally, each apartment at Sol Andalusi comes with double-glazed windows, with electric shutters in the bedrooms, fire detection system, satellite TV and internet connection. Construction wise, the walls have been made doubly thick for heat and sound insulation. In the bathrooms, the bath doubles as a Jacuzzi, and in the kitchens the equipment is AEG. The bedrooms are fitted with cherry wood wardrobes. For the golf enthusiast, there are several golf courses within a short drive.

Sol Andalusi has won the prestigious Homes Overseas Gold Award for the best retirement resort in Europe, twice in a row. It has also won the Best Development in Spain award in the International Property Awards. The location is in the Guadalhorce mountain valley, to the north of Malaga city, in a quiet area. Malaga though, is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city, full of life and culture, and is just a fifteen minute drive away. And for the more energetic holiday maker, the Sierra Nevada skiing resort is just an hour and a half away by road.
