Founded in 1973, Incosol is renowned among those with deep pockets for its therapeutic spa, the hotel’s à la carte diets – for health reasons or just plain weight loss – and the on-hand medical attention. So, if you’re trying to lose weight, convalescing or simply taking a break from the stresses of everyday life and looking to do it in the midst of luxury, Incosol may be the hotel in Marbella for you.
Incosol is a large hotel with 192 rooms, all with terraces with many overlooking the Rio Real golf course and beyond to the sea. As you would expect from a spa hotel, water forms a major element and as well as its spa treatment pools, Incosol also has six swimming pools. Not a hotel for those wanting to be at the centre of Marbella’s action, Incosol is essentially a luxury clinic and if you aren’t participating in any of the treatments you may feel a little out of place. Guests not involved in one of the hotel’s many therapeutic remedies may find the hotel a little empty, although the treatment rooms are full.
No ordinary luxury hotel, Incosol caters specifically for guests seeking a health centre break. Its tranquil surroundings and almost clinical atmosphere mean it isn’t the place for a romantic two-some or family holiday on the Costa del Sol.
