On arrival, guests at the Polly Mar are given advice on what treatments are available and what would best suit their requirements. It’s a very atmospheric spa, with the décor and tiles designed to be in keeping with its ethos of exotic cleanliness. Hydro therapy, sea-salt skin peeling, and Neptune Paradise massage are just a few of the treatments available.

There is also very much an emphasis on different treatments from different cultures. For example, Arabian cleansing, Asian massage and Thai massage. Everything is explained in detail by qualified staff, to ensure peace of mind and relaxation. However, it’s always best to mention any current medical conditions you have, which may preclude you from taking part in the more energetic treatments.All manner of skin treatments can also be experienced, such as deep facial cleansing, double chin reduction, energetic face lifting and muscle stimulation.

There are no less than eighteen treatment rooms on a site which covers more than 1,000 square metres, and a variety of treatment programmes tailored to each person’s needs.

The emphasis is on natural methods to enhance health and beauty, with no side-effects, and the chance to use the advice given to continue your well-being at home; for example in nutrition and advice on slimming and reducing body fat. Guests can either check in for a day, or there are special three day weekend packages, or even full five day programmes, which involve a mixture of the aforementioned treatments.
