Family Life in Marbella

Cheryl:
"The weather! I know that’s the classic, but it was a very closed life. It’s all behind closed doors. Here there are parties all the time, and meeting people, it’s all part of the life here. The kids have friends of different nationalities, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Argentian, it enriches them in every way, to make relationships with people from different cultures. "

"The kids are sleeping up on the terrace (because it’s so warm) the noise is reduced and they can meet all their friends too! I like cycling into work, and the heat slows you down, which I like."

Graeme:
"I never fit into the UK, and when we went back after living here and I tried again, but I couldn’t do it, there were not enough characters or colours. There’s a little restaurant in La Campana which is like something out of a film, it’s great family restaurant, with fantastic service. There’s nothing about the UK that I miss. "

"The most special moment is when we come back on a June day and go down to the beach and the kids run and splash around in the sea. It’s great."

Cheryl:
"When you want something in life you have to go for it, otherwise your life passes you by and before you know it, it’s too late.  "

Hi Susan, yes Spain in general is a good place for kids, and southern Spain is specially good due to its great weather social life goes on very much outdoors. In Spain kids are very much part of society and are around in restaurants playing and meeting other kids while their parents have lunch on a terrace restaurant . on the other hand Marbella is a good place for healthy and sporty life. Compare to England Andalucia its a very safe place for kids. good luck with your relocation plans
