The true Andalusian culture.
We are at cortijo andalus which is a typical farm in the province of Cadiz , the natural environment for the brave spanish bull , the andalusian horse and for the people who breed this wonderful animals.
During spring time a selection of cows are put together with the stud , soon after the cows give birth there are again downed by the bull in total freedom and in their natural habitat.
On this andalusian farm the horses as well as bulls spent all their life in freedom.
The Spanish horse its not only a working tool used to conduct the bulls is also a world famous as one of the best breeds for the high school dressage.
The andalusian style dressage was born as means to round up the bulls but today has became very much of an exhibition, an art in which people compete.
This wonderful image that you see its a tribute to the old farmers that in past times used to travel with their bulls along the length of the spanish countryside.
And finally after four years of hard work ,sacrifice and dedication the bulls are sent to face their destiny...
Here is were where Brandy is maturing, the first thing you´ll notice is the black colour of the walls and ceilings. This is due to the 5% evaporation of all the products. This is called "the angels share."
Here we find some of the oldest wines of this bodega some of them are dedicated and sign by the spanish royal family ,you can also see that other barrels are signed by very famous people.
In the old times a worker used to feed the mice and he also give them a little taste of sweet wine
