Puerto Banus was opened in May 1970 by the developer José Banus. Situated only 5km to the east of one of the Costa del Sol’s largest beach resorts, Marbella, Puerto Banus has become one of the most famous ports in Europe. Synonymous with wealth, extravagant parties, high fashion and glitz, Puerto Banus attracts tourists and celebrities.

The focal point of Puerto Banus is, of course, its port, which has berths for 915 boats, including those belonging to world's wealthiest individuals. The ostentation of the boats is only matched by that of the cars and the designer clothing. This beach resort on the Costa del Sol is all about bling.
