At the west end of the Costa del Sol, Estepona is one of the quieter beach resorts on this part of the coast in Andalucia. Around 75km from Malaga airport, Estepona is just 25km from Marbella and Puerto Banus. But unlike these more famous Costa del Sol travel destinations, Estepona is one of the few coastal towns that has succeeded in maintaining its Spanish pueblo charm and character.

Unlike other beach resorts such as Torremolinos and Fuengirola, Estepona has managed to avoid a skyline of high rise hotels and apartments. On its western and eastern ends, Estepona is home to some of the most luxury new developments on the Costa del Sol and has become a favourite with foreign and Spanish residents for a holiday home.

Estepona has some of the best beaches on the Costa del Sol’s west end and the 23km stretch of sands make this quiet resort one of the most attractive for a family holiday destination on the Costa del Sol.
