Malaga Province – So Much More Than Sunshine and Sand


Malaga province is on the southern coast of Spain in the region of Andalucia. The Mediterranean runs along the south coast.

The province has a population of over 1.3 million and 40% live in the capital, Malaga. It has a warm Mediterranean climate. Winters are short and mild, and summers hot and dry. On the east coast you’ll find a sub-tropical climate.

In Malaga province, the visitor will find a fusion of traditional Andalucian culture, stunning scenery, sunshine and endless beaches. The main industry is tourism, particularly in Costa del Sol resorts, which attract millions of visitors every year.
